TTW contribution to sustainable & future-proof cultivation

Precision through structural monitoring

With fortnightly sampling of both crop and soil, we map out exactly what the crop needs and what the soil can provide. This prevents over- and under-fertilisation and ensures efficient use of additives.

Proactive crop health

Fortnightly field visits allow early detection of diseases, pests and growth abnormalities. This allows preventive action, minimising the use of plant protection products.

Soil and product quality in balance

Targeted adjustments based on measured nutrient and element deficiencies keep the soil fertile and balanced. This directly contributes to healthy crop development and the production of high-quality, safe food.

TTW contribution to security of supply

Continuity in volume and quality

By systematically monitoring crops and lots from the field, we reduce the risk of disappointing yields or unexpected quality problems.

Predictability for the chain

Based on measurement data and growth models, we can provide forecasts early in the season. This enables timely intervention and stable production schedules.

Reduce risk of failure

Deviations are quickly spotted, allowing immediate adjustments to be made. This minimises the risk of product failure and enhances security of supply.

TTW contribution to quality assurance & consistency

Predictable product quality

With frequent monitoring and data-driven advice, we ensure maximum steering towards pre-discussed targets on quality and sorting specifications.

Less rejection, more efficiency

Early detection of deviations allows immediate adjustments to be made, reducing product loss and costs.

Transparency towards customers

Objective measurement data is the basis for trust and smooth cooperation with processors and retailers.

Frequently asked questions

We are happy to answer all your questions about smart farming. Is your question not among them? Feel free to contact us.

Yes. The method is applicable to different crops and in a variety of growing conditions. Advice can be tailored per plot and location, which is especially valuable for companies operating in multiple locations or in different countries.

The TTW system is currently applied to crops such as chicory, onions, potatoes, cereals, flower bulbs, cabbages, beets and chicory. If your crop is not listed here, expansion is always possible. New crops are systematically monitored from the first season, providing valuable insights to optimise cultivation within a short time.

Yes. The TTW-System® can be used worldwide. We tailor our approach to local conditions, such as soil type, climate and market structure. Currently, TTW is active in the countries of the Netherlands, Belgium and northern France. Outside these areas, we work in consultation with adapted visit and monitoring schedules.

We start with a plot and soil analysis and record all relevant data in the TTW-System®. During cultivation, we monitor crop and soil development with regular field visits, measurements and analyses. Based on this, you will receive timely advice for adjustment. After harvest, TTW can support you in storage, processing and strategic decisions.

We also hold in-season information tours, presentations and knowledge sessions.

No. TTW works completely independently. We always choose the solution that best suits the specific combination of plot, variety and objective, without commercial ties to suppliers.

The TTW-System® combines field observations, measurement data and historical crop information in one integrated platform. The platform is fully in-house and already consists of 38 years of data. This allows us to recognise trends, make connections and provide substantiated advice that is directly applicable in operations.
